inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Manpower Yassierli emphasized that the 2026 National Vocational Training Program is designed to ensure graduates have skills that meet the needs of industry and are better prepared to enter the workforce.
"This program is designed to link and match industry needs. Our focus is on improving skills so that graduates can be absorbed into the workforce," said Yassierli on Monday (4/20/2026).
He explained that the program was implemented nationally and was attended by 10,405 participants across 21 Vocational Training Centers (BLK), 13 training units under the Directorate General of Vocational Training and Productivity Development at the Ministry of Manpower, and 46 Technical Implementation Training Centers (BLK).
Yassierli added that in the 2026 Fiscal Year, the Ministry of Manpower is targeting 70,000 participants to participate in vocational training funded through the State Budget, with priority given to high school graduates and equivalents, free of charge.
"The hope is that participants will not only have skills but also be ready to contribute to the industrial world," he said.
Training participants will receive various benefits, including free training and lunch, transportation assistance, Work Accident Insurance (JKK) and Death Insurance (JKM) coverage through the Social Security Agency (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan), training certificates from the BPVP (Vocational Professional Certification Agency), and competency certificates from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP). Dormitory facilities are also available, subject to criteria and availability.
