New Zealand PM Congratulates Indonesia for Smooth Election

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon congratulates the smooth democratic process in Indonesia to the Indonesian Vice President Ma’ruf Amin during their bilateral meeting in Wellington. “I want to say congratulations to you for the biggest general election in Indonesia,” said Christopher Luxon on Tuesday (2/27/2024). During a meeting that goes for 25 minutes in Speaker’s Lounge New Zealand Parliament Building, Christopher hopes that his government could further continue the collaboration with the new government of Indonesia. “We are excited to meet the Indonesian President next week. I hope that we could further improve our market trading,” said Luxon. Respond to the praise, VP Ma’ruf Amin also congratulates Luxon for his election as the new New Zealand Prime Minister on last November 27th, 2023. “I also congratulate your excellency for your election as the new prime minister. I am sure, under your leadership, New Zealand will continue to move forward and played integral role in Pacific Ocean and the world,” congratulate Ma’ruf Amin. Accompanying VP Ma’ruf Amin is the Indonesian Ambassador Wellington Fientje Maritje, Head VP Secretariat Ahmad Erani Yustika, Director General of Asia-Pacific and Africa Abdul Kadir Jailani, Communication and Information Special Staff of VP Masduki Baidlowi, and Indonesian Ambassador Function Coordinator Lucky Saud.
