Nikson Pangaribuan was the perpetrator of the murder of his biological mother in Cileungsi, West Java. In the incident, he killed his mother by attacking her with a 3kg LPG gas cylinder.

“In our investigation, we also found a letter containing his health history where it was determined that he was having a mental disorder,” said the Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Profession and Security Division, Senior Superintendent Bambang Satriawan.

Meanwhile, the Psychiatrist of the Kramatjati Bhayangkara Police Hospital Dr. Henny Riana, further confirmed Nikson's medical history. It was noted that he had received medical treatment since 2020.

"The patient was hospitalized repeatedly. His last treatment in the hospital was on March 8th, 2024, where he was treated for 16 days," Riana explained.
