inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The General Chairman of the Nusantara People's Front (BaraNusa), Adi Kurniawan, expressed his full support for the Indonesian National Police (INP)'s Anti-Corruption Corps. This support relates to the thorough investigation of alleged corruption in coal management.

Adi emphasized that in a state governed by the rule of law, there should be no actions that could give the impression of pressure or interference in the investigation process.

"If it is true that someone is trying to influence the course of the investigation, then this action sets a very bad precedent for law enforcement. The state cannot be defeated by anyone when pursuing perpetrators of corruption," Adi explained on Thursday (7/9/2026).

According to him, the alleged coal corruption concerns a significant public interest. Therefore, all law enforcement officers must be given the space to work professionally, independently, and free from intimidation.

"We fully support INP's Anti-Corruption Corps in getting to the bottom of this case. We must not stop at the perpetrators on the ground. Anyone suspected of involvement must be prosecuted according to the law, regardless of position or institution," he explained.

He also urged all state institutions to respect the limits of their respective authorities.

"The Indonesian Military (TNI) has duties and authorities stipulated by law, as does the police (INP). Therefore, we request that no one interfere in the investigation process. Let the law work objectively, transparently, and fairly," Adi stated.

Adi added that corruption eradication will only be successful if all state institutions demonstrate the same commitment, namely supporting the legal process, rather than stirring up polemics that could potentially erode public trust. This is because corruption is a common enemy.
