The security operation involves airport personnel, Polda Sumut, and Deli Serdang Police, focusing on the hotel where the Indonesian Hajj pilgrims are staying and their transport to the airport.

He added that no suspicious items were found in the cargo.

Earlier, North Sumatra Police  Chief Inspector General Whisnu Hermawan announced that joint checks by the bomb squad, military, and airport authorities confirmed the aircraft was clear of threats.
