inp.polri.go.id – The Electronic Traffic Law Enforcement (ETLE) system or electronic ticketing has been implemented in several provinces in Indonesia. Electronic tickets are increasingly being applied to take action against vehicles found to be violating traffic rules. The Directorate of Traffic of North Sumatra Police said that the new system was effective in early August and his party still also maintains direct ticketing by giving blue and red slip tickets. North Sumatra Police Traffic Directorate will apply a mobile ticket which will be implemented in Medan City. This ticket system is a new one, where police personnel will patrol through the city equipped with special cellphones and will took a picture of the license plates of those who violate the traffic laws. Then, the violator will be sent a ticket to the address listed. "We are will implement this operation next month," said Police Commissioner Indra Darmawan Iriyanto.
