To improve the quality of financial planning and management within the police force, the Head of the NTB Regional Police's Planning and Development Agency, Senior Superintendent Susilo Setiawan, officially opened a Technical Working Meeting to refine the working papers, TOR (Work Plan), and RAB (Work Plan Budget) for the NTB Regional Police's budget allocation for the 2026 Fiscal Year.
The event took place in the Ballroom of the Lombok Garden Hotel and was attended by all work units (Satker) and regional units (Satwil) within the NTB Regional Police.
The Head of Public Relations of the NTB Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Mohammad Kholid explained that this Technical Working Meeting as an important guideline for budget implementers and managers in each NTB Regional Police Work Unit.
The goal is to ensure that the entire planning and budget utilization process is transparent, efficient, and aligned with central government policies.
"This working meeting was held to provide understanding to all budget managers so they can properly prepare and adjust work plans in accordance with national policy directions and priorities," said Kholid, as reported by the gayabekasi website, Tuesday (10/21/2025).
He also mentioned that the government, in its 2026 financial note, emphasized the importance of maintaining economic stability through measurable planning and budget efficiency.
The efficiency principles implemented in 2025 will serve as the baseline for compiling the 2026 State Budget, including the Indonesian National Police's strategy for managing spending to ensure a direct impact on public services.
"This activity is crucial so that each unit can adjust its budgeting policy to focus on results and benefits, not just budget absorption," he explained.
This working meeting also serves as a momentum to strengthen cooperation between units within the NTB Regional Police to achieve effective and accountable budget management and support the improvement of the National Police's performance going forward.
