Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The people of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) is invited to jointly ensures 2024 General Election safety, peace, and security. This was stated by NTT Police Chief, Inspector General Johanis Asadoma in Kupang. “Let us maintain a peace, order, and smooth elections for a better and prosperous Indonesia. Maintaining a peaceful election is the responsibility of us all. A safe and conducive situation is the basis to guarantee our democracy festive to go smoothly and with integrity,” says the police chief on Thursday (11/2/2023). He also implores the people of NTT to respect the differences and ensure the election would be going safely with full responsibility. Elections is where people jointly voice their aspirations for the future of the state. “It is important for all parties in maintaining security and order during election. People have to actively join in monitoring and secure the elections. The active participation of the community will help create a more transparent and just election,” says the police chief. The police chief belief that with cooperation and awareness will ensure the 2024 election will be going smoothly and able to ensure state advancement and prosperity.
