Inp.polri.go.id – West Java. Special Detachment 88 Counter-terrorism of Indonesian National Police (INP) have arrested two terrorists linked to Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD). The two arrested in West Java on November 1st, 2023. “The two suspects are AH or also known as AM and the other one is DAM. The two were arrested on November 1st in West Java,” says Head Ops of Special Detachment 88, Grand Commissioner Aswin Siregar in a conference press on Friday (11/3/2023). Aswin says the two are allegedly linked to JAD led by Abu Omar. The Head of Public Information Bureau, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan states since October 2023, there are 19 terrorists of Jamaah Islamiyah (JI) arrested by the police, while terrorist linked to Jamaah Ansharut Daulah (JAD) are 42 suspects. “In total, there are 61 terrorists arrested by the police,” says Ahmad.
