Expressing from the heart of the Indonesian Hospital, Atef made a plea for full protection for the hospital's staff, patients, and over 5000 refugees, highlighting the need in a written statement issued by MER-C Indonesia on Sunday (5/11/2023), according to antaranews.com.

The Indonesian Hospital formally implored the Indonesian government to exert pressure on Israel and other involved nations to halt the ongoing attacks on Gaza immediately.
"We have strong confidence in the Indonesian government's ability to apply significant pressure on the United Nations, the United States, Britain, France, and the occupier to cease the assaults on hospitals," Atef aserted.
