Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta administration will reinstate the odd-even traffic restriction policy for private vehicles starting Tuesday (8/4/2025), after a suspension of nearly two weeks due to the recent religious holidays.

The Head of Jakarta Transportation Agency, Syafrin Liputo, confirmed the resumption on Monday, following the conclusion of collective leave for Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr holidays.

“The odd-even system will be back in effect tomorrow. We urge all motorists to comply with the regulation to help ease congestion as activity resumes after the holidays,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

The policy had been temporarily suspended from18  March to 7 April 2025, in line with a Joint Decree from three ministers regarding national holidays and collective leave for 2025.

The odd-even traffic scheme does not apply on Saturdays, Sundays, or public holidays, as stated in Jakarta Governor Regulation No. 88/2019.

Meanwhile, Jakarta’s Car-Free Day (CFD), which was also suspended on 30 March and 6 April 2025 due to the holiday traffic flow management, will resume on Sunday.
