Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. A violent brawl between two youth groups on Jalan Pangeran Jayakarta, South Mangga Dua area in Jakarta has resulted in the death of a student on Sunday.

Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam Indradi, the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Head of Public Relations, confirmed that the brawl was between the Mangga Besar XII and Pecah Kulit groups. 

The brawl escalated when the opposing group retaliated, causing the victims to flee towards Jalan Mangga Besar XIII.

During the chaos, the victim stumbled over bamboo and was attacked with sharp weapons. He was taken to Sawah Besar Hospital, but all were pronounced dead upon arrival.

The Sawah Besar Police Office are currently pursuing the suspects involved.
