Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Raja Juli Antoni, the Deputy Minister of Agrarian and Spatial Planning and Acting Deputy Head of the Ibu Kota Nusantara Authority (OIKN), announced on Monday (9/9/2024) that investors from China and Australia will participate in the eighth groundbreaking ceremony at IKN in East Kalimantan this September.

“On Thursday, President Joko Widodo will visit IKN for this groundbreaking event. We expect six to eight investors, including two foreign ones. Delonix from China will invest around Rp 500 billion to build a mall, hotel, apartments, and shopping centers,” he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.i.

Australian Independent School will also start construction on a school with an initial investment of Rp 150 billion. It will mark the eighth groundbreaking, following seven previous ones.

As of September 2024, 31 investors have committed about Rp 56.8 trillion, including six joint ventures between local and foreign entities.
