inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK), Ivan Yustiavandana, stated that the number of online gambling transactions has been successfully suppressed thanks to the firmness of President Prabowo Subianto.

According to the PPATK Head, the pressure on the PPATK to eradicate online gambling is indeed extraordinary. This is especially true now that financial technology is experiencing rapid progress.

"If it weren't for the firmness of our President, Prabowo Subianto, we would never have achieved the historic milestone of reducing online gambling," explained Ivan on Tuesday (2/3/2026).

With advances in financial technology, crypto, and other financial technologies, the PPATK Head predicted that the potential for online gambling transactions could reach IDR 1,100 trillion.

However, after coordinating with various institutions, including the Ministry of Communication and Digital, the number of online gambling transactions has now been reduced to just IDR 268 trillion.

In fact, the PPATK Head stated that from 2017 to 2020, the number of online gambling transactions continued to increase. However, he did not specify the annual judol transaction figures.

"It saves a lot of our brothers and sisters out there," he said.
