inp.polri.go.id - Pekanbaru. The Riau Regional Police held a press conference to reveal the results of Operation Antik Lancang Kuning (LK) 2026 at their Headquarters on Tuesday (5/12/2026).
During the press conference, they outlined the significant achievements of the operation, including hundreds of drug cases solved and the seizure of a large amount of evidence.
The press conference was led by the Vice Chief of the Riau Regional Police, Brigadier General Hengki Haryadi, and attended by senior Riau Regional Police officials and members of the media.
In his presentation, Hengki stated that during the 22-day operation of Operation Antik LK 2026, they successfully uncovered 435 cases of drug abuse and distribution, with a total of 557 suspects apprehended from various regions in Riau Province.
The operation, which ran from April 16 to May 7, 2026, prioritized preventive and preemptive measures, as well as massive law enforcement.
"In addition to law enforcement, we also carried out preventive and preemptive activities such as outreach, counseling, education, patrols, and raids at nightclubs, boarding houses, and locations prone to drug activity," said Hengki at a press conference.
During the operation, police conducted 4,128 preventive activities and 1,431 patrols and raids in various areas of Riau.
From the hundreds of cases uncovered, police seized large quantities of narcotics evidence, including 31.85 kilograms of methamphetamine, 2,319 ecstasy pills, 110.74 grams of marijuana, 62 Happy Five pills, and 761 cartridges containing etomidate.
Furthermore, authorities also confiscated IDR 159 million in cash suspected to be the proceeds of drug transactions, five cars, one speedboat used to transport goods from abroad, 128 motorcycles, and 467 mobile phones belonging to the suspects.
Hengki revealed that of the 557 suspects apprehended, 487 were detained for their involvement in the drug trafficking network. Meanwhile, 70 others received rehabilitation based on the results of an integrated assessment.
"This disclosure has saved approximately 162,754 lives of the nation's children from the dangers of drugs," he emphasized.
