inp.polri.go.id - Batam. The Operation Ketupat Seligi 2026 in Riau Islands has officially concluded. The operation, run by Riau Islands Regional Police which ran from March 13 to 25, 2026, proceeded safely, orderly, and conducively, providing a sense of security and comfort to the community.

The Riau Islands Regional Police Chief Inspector General Asep Safrudin, expressed his appreciation and gratitude to all parties who contributed to the operation, including the Indonesian National Police (INP), the Indonesian National Military (TNI), the Transportation Agency, local governments, Jasa Raharjased, and other relevant stakeholders, as well as the community who helped maintain a conducive situation. He said the success of Operation Ketupat Seligi 2026 was the result of collaboration and hard work of all parties involved.

He noted that throughout the operation, the public order and security situation in Riau Islands remained relatively safe and under control. He confirmed that there were no major incidents, including public order disturbances or traffic accidents, at locations and roads prioritized for security.

"All Task Forces are prioritizing preemptive and preventive measures to anticipate potential disruptions and ensure optimal public services," explained Asep on Thursday (3/26/2026).

According to him, Operation Ketupat Seligi 2026 involved approximately 1,450 joint personnel stationed across all regencies and cities in the Riau Islands region. All personnel worked together to provide security and services, particularly at busy points and on public mobility routes during the Eid homecoming and return journeys.

"Overall, the implementation of Operation Ketupat Seligi 2026 went well and smoothly. This is the result of collaboration of all personnel and stakeholders in providing the best security and service to the public," said Asep.
