Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) revealed that over 100 recipients of government social aid, or commonly known as bansos, are linked to corruption, drug crimes, and even terrorism financing.

“More than 100 identified citizen ID numbers were connected to terrorism financing activities,” said PPATK Head Ivan Yustiavandana after a hearing with Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR) on Thursday (10/7/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com. 

The findings came from cross-checking the citizen ID numbers data from the Ministry of Social Affairs with financial transactions at a state-owned bank.

Earlier, PPATK also disclosed that 571,410 bansos recipients were involved in online gambling, with total deposits surpassing Rp 957 billion across 7.5 million transactions.

Minister Muhaimin Iskandar stated the government will revoke aid for those proven to misuse funds for gambling, even if they are from the poor or extreme poor category.
