Inp.polri.go.id - Parigi Moutong. The Parigi Moutong Sub-regional Police in Central Sulawesi, will deploy 2,556 joint officers to secure the upcoming repeat regional election (PSU) on Wednesday.

“We’re mobilizing 2,556 personnel to ensure the PSU runs safely,” said Parigi Moutung Police Chief Superintendent Jovan Reagan Sumual on Sunday (13/4/2025).

The force includes 620 local police officers, 100 regional police support (BKO), 200 Mobile Brigade (Brimob) officers, and 1,636 polling stations’ security officers.

They will be stationed at 818 polling stations with varying risk levels. A deployment ceremony took place Sunday to affirm preparation involving the police, military, and other stakeholders, according to antaranews.com.

Chief Jovan urged officers to act with discipline, integrity, and compassion, while avoiding arrogance or misconduct. He emphasized strict but humane enforcement of laws and health protocols.
