KNKT Chairman Soerjanto Tjahjono highlighted on Thursday (11/4/2024) that the driver of the unofficial travel vehicle exceeded the prescribed working hours, leading to inadequate rest, according to antaranews.com. Investigations unveiled that on 5 April 2024, the car departed from Ciamis at 7.30 pm bound for Jakarta. The next day, it returned to Ciamis in the afternoon before heading back to Jakarta. On 7 April 2024, the car left Ciamis for Jakarta in the morning, took a brief rest, and returned to Ciamis in the afternoon, eventually arriving back in Jakarta late at night. On Monday, the vehicle picked up passengers from various locations before heading to Ciamis.
