Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Mahmoud Al-Habbash, Presidential Advisor for Religious Affairs and the Chief Sharia Judge of the Palestinian Authority, praised Indonesia's consistent support for Palestinian independence.

“I am very pleased and honored by the reception from the Speaker of the MPR, and I can conclude that Indonesia's stance remains consistent in supporting the Palestinian struggle and issues,” he said in Jakarta on Friday (9/8/2024).

Accompanied by a Palestinian delegation and representatives from the Nahdlatul Ulama (PBNU), Al-Habbash noted that Indonesia's support for Palestine is unwavering across various levels—government, parliament, and society.

He expressed confidence that Indonesia will continue to support Palestine's pursuit of independence until it is achieved. The Palestinian delegation also included Ambassador Zuhair Al-Shun.
