Sudaryono emphasized that the Ministry of Agriculture is at the forefront in realizing the target of national food self-sufficiency.

Moreover, he continued, President Prabowo Subianto has designated the agriculture and food sector as a priority agenda in national development.

"Therefore, in this, we are the front commander in implementing food security, self-sufficiency, and sovereignty programs," he said.

Furthermore, he conveyed that the direction of global development is now shifting, not just ideology or economics, but has moved towards the principle of survival of the country which makes food security fundamental.

"This is a tough mission, but we must show that we are powerful enough to secure food for 280 million Indonesians," Sudaryono added.
