inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) Dadan Hindayana said that President Prabowo Subianto instructed the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) to emulate the Free Nutritional Meal Kitchen (MBG) managed by the Indonesian National Police (INP).
According to Dadan, the SPPG kitchen managed by INP has high standards and has zero cases of poisoning.
This was conveyed by Dadan during a Working Meeting (Raker) with Commission IX of the House of Representatives (DPR) at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday (10/1/2025).
In the meeting, Dadan reveals that so far there are 10,012 SPPGs around the country per October 1, 2025.
Regarding poisoning, Dadan divided the cases into three regions: Region I on Sumatra Island, Region II on Java Island, and Region III on eastern Indonesia. The majority of cases occurred on Java Island.
The cause of poisoning, Dadan explained, was because SPPGs did not follow SOPs. For example, purchasing raw materials should be done two days before, but many kitchens purchased four days before. In addition, the time between cooking and distribution should not be more than six hours. However, some cooked for 12 hours before distribution.
"For example, in Bandung, there were some who cooked from 9 pm then delivered at 12 noon, some even more," he explained.
Dadan said that SPPGs who did not follow procedures would be prosecuted and temporarily closed. The closure was indefinite, until the SPPGs improved their SOPs.
Dadan continued, also requiring each SPPG to have a Certificate of Hygiene and Sanitation (SLHS) and sterilization equipment. In addition, the regional government will involve community health centers (Puskesmas) and community health centers (UKS).
