The investigators of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Unit (Bareskrim) completed the case file of Panji Gumilang (PG) to be delivered to the public prosecutor. On this case, Panji is the suspect for hate speech crime in Islamic Boarding School of Al Zaytun. “Investigators have completed the case file given by the prosecutor and will immediately return the case file of PG to the public prosecutor,” said the Head of the Public Affairs Bureau of INP Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan. On this case, PG was charged with Article 156 a, Article 14 Law Number 1 of 1946, and the ITE Law. It was reported that investigators have extended the imprisonment Panji Gumilang for 40 days. On the other hand, investigators declined the suspension of detention that was reportedly proposed by the suspect's family. Not just entangled with religious blasphemy, Panji Gumilang is alos being examined for money laundering case. Several of his bank accounts has been blocked to be investigated.
