inp.polri.go.id - Banjarbaru. South Kalimantan Regional Police held the 2024 Peaceful Regional Head Election Declaration for Banjar Regency.

The event initiated by the South Kalimantan Regional Police Security Intelligence Directorate was attended by provincial key officials and regent pair candidates.

The South Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Winarto states that the peaceful declaration shows the joint commitment of all parties. The declaration was to achieve respectful election in Banjar Regency, and to ensure that the event goes smoothly without disturbance.

Regarding election violation reports, Winarto says it will be handled accordingly. The police, Election Supervisory Body, Integrated Law Enforcement, and General Election Commission will receive and process the violation with the applicable laws.

Winarto adds that he had instructed all his personnel in South Kalimantan to maintain their neutrality.

"I have ordered all members not to get involved in political practice during the election, whether it is helping family, friends, neighbors or others," concluded the South Kalimantan Police Chief Winarto.
