inp.polri.go.id - Lampung. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo directly inspected and monitored the return flow of Eid al-Fitr 1447 Hijri at Bakauheni Port, Lampung. On this occasion, Sigit ensured that all travelers would arrive safely at their destinations.
Sigit revealed that during his inspection, the peak of the second wave of the Eid al-Fitr return flow occurred from the evening of Friday, March 27, 2026, to Saturday, March 28, 2026. In general, the return flow by land, air, and sea routes proceeded safely and smoothly.
"Today, the Minister of Transportation and I visited Bakauheni to confirm the latest developments regarding the peak return flow, which is expected to begin this evening and continue today, and we will likely continue to monitor it until tonight," said Sigit at Bakauheni Port on Saturday (3/28/2026).
During the visit, Sigit also greeted travelers and presented them with gifts. He then inspected the Integrated Post, Disaster Alert Post, and Security Post. This was done to ensure the smooth return flow.
Based on Jasa Marga data, Sigit explained that the number of vehicles leaving Jakarta reached 2,946,891, a 20.49 percent increase compared to 2,894,164 in 2025. Of this number, 385,262 vehicles have not yet returned to Jakarta.
According to Sigit, with this data, the peak of the return flow has passed. However, Sigit emphasized that his party, along with other relevant stakeholders, will continue to ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.
"Hopefully, we can continue to maintain and manage this smooth traffic flow so that all people can return safely and comfortably," said Sigit.
Regarding the return flow at Bakauheni Port, Sigit revealed that all arrangements, services, and security have been running smoothly and optimally. This is thanks to the commitment of all relevant parties to ensure a comfortable and safe Eid homecoming and return flow.
