inp.polri.go.id – The pandemic is not over yet, and in this Eid holiday, people must remain vigilant by adhering to health protocols, especially wearing masks. Eid holidays are about to start. According to the government's decree, Eid al-Fitr leave will start on Friday 29 April 2022, and will end on Sunday 8 May. During that period, it is estimated that the citizens will go to many gathering activities and travel to tourist attractions. The crowd full of people should be a consideration to remain vigilant amid the Covid-19 that still spreads in the community. Although many residents have already fully vaccinated and also got boosters, it won’t hurt by still complying the health protocols during the Eid holiday. The use of masks, maintaining distance, and always wash our hands must still be carried out if we do not want to be infected with Covid 19. According to mass media observer, Rahmat Edi Irawan, the socialization of health programs becomes very important when there are mass activities of citizens. "There is nothing wrong with by being vigilant amid this mass yearly event, so that this Eid holiday remains safe and enjoyable. Don't let our guard down while having an enjoyable day in Eid holiday later," he said. Health protocols, especially the use of masks, have been proven to prevent transmission. Meanwhile, complete and booster vaccines will further increase the immunity. Hopefully a safe and healthy Eid can be realized.
