PT Pertamina (Persero) President Director Nicke Widyawati expressed her gratitude for the collaborative efforts that contributed to the successful execution of the 2023 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia. "We anticipate that, with Pertamina's backing, the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia can achieve not only sporting success but also bring recognition to Indonesia as a proficient host of international events," she said Nicke during her remarks in Praya, Central Lombok on Sunday (15/10/23). The 2023 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, which took place at the Mandalika Circuit from October 13 to 15, culminated in a victory for Francesco Bagnaia of the Ducati Lenovo Team. She added that MotoGP Indonesia serves as more than a racing spectacle, it also bolsters the local economy by attracting tourists to the international event, benefiting local entrepreneurs. Ahead of the race, Nicke, accompanied by several Pertamina Group officials, paid a visit to the Pit Lane Walk at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit. She took the opportunity to encourage various teams, including the Pertamina Mandalika SAG Racing and the VR46 Team. "During my earlier visits to several racing teams, they emphasized that competing at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit leaves an indelible mark," she said. In its capacity as the primary sponsor of the 2023 Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia, Pertamina has meticulously ensured the uninterrupted supply of fuel for the community, with special attention to the Mandalika region, throughout the event. Leading the way in the field of energy transition, Pertamina remains resolute in its commitment to achieving the Net Zero Emissions 2060 target, she said.
