President Prabowo expressed his appreciation for PM Modi's presence in Indonesia. He stated that the visit was an honor and reflected the long-standing close friendship between the two countries.

"First of all, I would like to once again welcome His Excellency, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, to Jakarta. It is a great honor for me as President of the Republic of Indonesia to welcome His Excellency back to Indonesia," said President Prabowo on Tuesday (7/7/2026).

He stated that Indonesia and India have a relationship built on close historical, cultural, and friendship that has existed for many years. Therefore, both countries are committed to continuing to maintain and strengthen cooperation in various fields.

"We share a long cultural and historical background. Therefore, this visit once again demonstrates our desire to continue nurturing that friendship and cooperation," said President Prabowo.
