inp.polri.go.id - The West Java Regional Police (Polda Jabar) conducted a survey related to security ahead of the 2022 President's Cup tournament which will be held at the Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium, Bandung. The security will be provided from the arrival of supporters and teams from outside the city of Bandung. "This schedule is almost upon us, and right now, we are making preparations and progress for security," explained the Head of Public Relations (Kabid Humas) of Polda Jabar, Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo at GBLA Stadium, Bandung City, Thursday, (09/06/22). Supporters from the Persebaya Surabaya team, namely Bonek, will certainly be present in the city of Bandung, and the police officers have also prepared a security plan for this. "We are currently conducting a survey to look at vulnerable points in our security plan, we also need preparations to secure the audience and the sponsors. We are taking into account their presence so as not to cause security and social disturbances," said the Intermediate Officer of the West Java Regional Police. The police have also prepared a gathering point for Persebaya Surabaya fans who come to Bandung City. This action is carried out with the relevant parties. "We are coordinating this with stakeholders and the committee to prepare standby locations for Bonek and sponsors of several football clubs," said Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo. It is known, the Group C stage of the 2022 Presidential Cup tournament will be held at the GBLA Stadium in Bandung. The teams that will compete in Bandung are Persib Bandung, Bhayangkara FC, Bali United, and Persebaya Surabaya.
