Polda Jatim Explained The Fixing Method in League 3

Directorate of General Criminal Investigation (Dirreskrimum) of the East Java Police (Polda Jatim), Commissioner Totok Suharyanto, S.I.K., M.H., confirmed that his party had arrested four suspects for the fixation of Indonesian League 3 in the East Java region. The four people are Bambang Suryo (52), Dimas Yopi Perwira Nusa (33), Imam Arif Hura (42), and Ferry Afrianto (47). In addition, there is one suspect who is still being chased, namely Heri Pras (33) who is now on the People's Wanted List (DPO). Dirreskrimum Polda Jatim explained that this case began with Dimas Yopi and Heri Pras who contacted Bambang Suryo. He asked that the match between Gresik Putra Paranane FA and Persema Malang to be fixed in exchange for IDR 70 million. "The scheme was Gresik Putra will won 1-0 from Persema in the first round," he said at the East Java Police Headquarters, Surabaya, Wednesday (16/3/2022). Dimas and Heri asked Bambang Suryo to implore Ferry so that Persema would lose 0-1 in the first round, but in the end, Persema won over Gresik. Bambang Suryo invite Ferry and Imam to ask the manager of Gresik Putra Paranane FA, Zha Eka Wulandari to give up against Persema Malang in exchange for Rp30 million and offered Rp 20 million to HPS and ACK, Gresik Putra players. However, the practice of fixing this score was soon uncovered after Zha reported the case to the East Java PSSI Asprov on November 11, 2021. Then on November 22, 2021, the Chairman of the East Java PSSI Komdis reported it to the East Java Regional Police with some evidence. The police also carried out investigations, until finally five people, including Bambang Suryo, were named suspects. As a result of his actions, Bambang Suryo and his colleagues was charged with Article 2 of Law 11 of 1980 concerning the Crime of Bribery. "They are threatened with five years in prison and a fine of Rp. 15 million," he concluded.
