Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. Police arrest four suspects allegedly behind the wild fire of Jambi and surrounding areas. They were proven to deliberately open a field by burning it. “We have arrested four people who are proven to deliberately open a field in Muaro Jambi and other regencies. Now they are under process,” said Jambi Police Chief, Inspector General Rusdi Hartono on Thursday (9/7/2023). He stated that police have found an evidence of fuel from the suspect which led the police to believe the four have tried to open a field by burning. “Yes. Deliberately. Because we now have the proof of fuel. They are indeed have planned to burn the field,” he explained further. He hopes that with the four suspect would realize their wrongdoing after being arrested and brought to law by the police.
