Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police arrested one of the suspected leaders of the armed criminal group (KKB) with the initials KTH alias PH. The arrest was made on Friday (5/19/2023) at around 13:30 WIT.

KTH alias PH is suspected of being involved in various crimes committed by the KKB in the Yahukimo region, Papua Mountains.

"Namely the murder of a member of the Indonesian National Armed Force on November 4, 2022, the shooting of a member of the Yahukimo Police, Police Brigadier Usdar, on November 29, 2022, the shooting of a member of the Preventive Task Force Mobile Brigadier on November 30, 2022, and the shooting of the Yahukimo Resort Police Headquarters on December 30, 2022," said Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan in a press conference in Jakarta, Sunday (21/5/23).

Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan said that the arrest of KTH alias PH was explored through AS, the suspect in the shooting of Brimob members on November 30, 2022, who had been arrested first.

"The suspect AS confirmed or confirmed that the person in the photo is the leader of the KKB group, namely KTH alias PH," he explained.

In addition, the identity of KTH alias PH has also been confirmed based on population data searches. "Currently the leader of KTH alias PH has been handed over to the investigators of the Ops. Damai Cartenz and secured at the Papua Regional Police Criminal Directorate Building," concluded Police Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan.
