Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency has detained three more suspects linked to the Slot82-78 online gambling network, reportedly operated by a Chinese national.

The suspects, identified as Hartono Abdi Jaya (HAJ), Kristian alias CAS, and Ellen (E), held key roles in PT Odeo Teknologi Indonesia, a financial service company involved in processing gambling transactions.

According to INP Deputy Head of Criminal Investigation Agency, Inspector GeneralAsep Edi Suheri, investigators uncovered money trails tied to online gambling transactions managed through several companies controlled by these individuals. 

“Funds connected to Slot82-78 were funneled through companies created and coordinated by the suspects,” he said at a press conference on Saturday (2/11/2024), as quoted by antaranews.com.

HAJ, arrested on 18 October 2024, allegedly created shell companies to facilitate deposits and withdrawals for Slot82-78. CAS and E, directors in PT Odeo Teknologi, were detained on Friday.

Police have also listed two other suspects, Ina Juliani and Chinese national Dong Xiancai, as wanted. Police seized Rp 70.1 billion in cash, vehicles, and electronic devices used for gambling operations.

The suspects face up to 20 years in prison under multiple financial and cybercrime statutes.
