inp.polri.go.id – Bogor. The Bogor Resort Police’s Drug Investigation Unit, West Java Regional Police, arrested three 19-year-old teenagers with the initials RAM, WR, and RAP who are home industry owners and synthetic tobacco makers, who fall into the category of drug abuse. “Three suspects are a gang; RAM works as an apartment salesman, WR and RAP are screen printing employees. They have been running the synthetic tobacco home industry for two years,” said Bogor Resort Police Chief, Pol. According to the police chief, the three teenagers were arrested in the Sariwangi area, Bandung, on September 23, 2021. The investigation results revealed that the three had been renting a house in Permata Arcamanik, Sukamiskin Village, Bandung, which was used as a processing site. “They have distributed this product to several areas in West Java, such as Garut, Bandung, Cirebon, Cianjur, and Depok,” explained the Resort Police Chief. The three suspects marketed synthetic tobacco products through Instagram social media. Similar to the six previous synthetic tobacco cases that the Bogor Resort Police revealed.
