inp.polri.go.id – The Criminal Investigation Unit of the Rejang Lebong Police managed to arrest two men suspected of committing theft at the Alfamart minimarket on Merdeka Street, Pasar Baru Village, Curup District. Rejang Lebong Police Chief AKBP Tonny Kurniawan, S.I.K., said that the theft was first noticed by one of the employees when he was about to open the minimarket in the morning. It turned out that the front rolling padlock was no longer there. "The witness found that the cigarettes on the display case behind the cashier were scattered and many were missing. When checking the back door, the door was already unlocked," said Rejang Lebong Police Chief AKBP Tonny Kurniawan, in his statement, Tuesday (11/10/22). After receiving the report, the officers immediately moved quickly to follow up on the incident that occured on last 5th October. It didn't take long for the police to finally arrest the two perpetrators. The suspects, CH (27) and DS (23) are also recidivist. In addition to securing the perpetrators, the officers also secured a number of evidences including 1 Alfamart branded shopping cart, one IM3 starter card, 18 XL starter cards, a fan, 26 various packs of cigarettes, and dozens of other pieces of evidence.
