inp.polri.go.id -  Two people from Lintang Subdistrict, Empat Lawang Regency, South Sumatra Province, were arrested by Sub-Directorate I of the Bengkulu Police's Drugs Directorate. They were arrested by the police after storing 1 kg of marijuana. The Head of Public Relations of the Bengkulu Police, Commissioner Sudarno, explained that this arrest was based on the results of the development of the previous arrests. After further investigation of the previous arrests, the two suspects were arrested on Lombok street, Sukamerindu Village, Sungai Serut District, Bengkulu City. "Both of them control and distribute the drugs they buy from Lintang," explained the Head of Public Relations in a press conference accompanied by the Head of Sub-Directorate I of Drugs Directorate, AKBP Dheny Budhiono, Tuesday (11/10/22). Meanwhile, AKBP Dheny Budhiono, added that the two perpetrators are imigrants from Lintang and became chicken meat traders in the last two months at Pasar Minggu. Both decided to be a drug traffickers after tempted by the huge benefits. The two then sells marijuana by buying the illicit goods from someone in Lintang “They sold an ounce of marijuana. They sell it at a price of Rp500,000," told Commissioner Sudarno in press conference.
