inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Regional Metropolitan Police's Narcotics Investigation Directorate has uncovered a case of ecstasy and methamphetamine trafficking in Central and West Jakarta.
During the raid, police arrested one suspect along with hundreds of ecstasy pills and tens of grams of methamphetamine ready for distribution.
The raids took place on Friday (2/6/2026) in the basement 2 parking lot of the Grand Kartini Apartments in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta, and at a house in the Pinangsia area of Taman Sari, West Jakarta.
In the first raid, police arrested a man identified as B and 15 ecstasy pills in the basement 2 parking lot of the Grand Kartini Apartments in Sawah Besar, Central Jakarta.
"Based on the initial investigation, investigators further questioned the suspect and obtained information from suspect B that he still had ecstasy and methamphetamine stored at his house," said First Police Inspector Andri Fajar, Head of Unit 5, Sub-Directorate 2, Directorate of Narcotics Investigation, PMJ, on Monday (2/9/2026).
According to him, the team immediately conducted a search of his home in the Pinangsia area, Taman Sari, West Jakarta. Ecstasy and methamphetamine were found.
"Officers then conducted a search of his home and found 435 other ecstasy pills and 66.5 grams of methamphetamine," he said.
The suspect has been taken to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police Narcotics Investigation Directorate for further questioning.
