inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police are collaborating with several community organizations to maintain order during Ramadan 1447 Hijri.
These organizations include the Betawi Rembug Forum (FBR), the United Indonesian People's Movement (GRIB), the Red and White Army (LMP), the Betawi Children's Communication Forum (Forkabi), the Multipurpose Ansor Brigade (Banser), the Citra Bhayangkara Community Police Group (Pokdarkamtibmas), the Bhayangkara Student Unit (Saka Bhayangkara), the Community Protection Unit (Satlinmas), the Youth Organization (Karang Taruna), and the National Police Partner Communication Center (Senkom).
"We are committed to protecting the environment from various potential threats and disturbances, especially during the blessed month of Ramadan," said West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Twedi Aditya Bennyahdi, Thursday (2/26/2026).
According to Twedi, potential security disturbances can arise from small things, from provocation on social media, misunderstandings between groups, to narratives that can divide the community.
"Let's work together to create safe situations for the people going about their activities, safe for road users, business owners, places of worship, and even safe in the digital space," said Twedi.
He stated that prevention and early detection efforts are key to maintaining peace in the region, especially ahead of Eid al-Fitr when public activity increases.
