inp.polri.go.id - Riau. Police confirmed that a student, Faradila (23), was assaulted with a sharp weapon by R (21) on the campus of Sultan Syarif Kasim State Islamic University (UIN Suska). The victim has received treatment from the Bhayangkara Hospital Pekanbaru medical team.

"I have met directly with the medical team from Bhayangkara Hospital, including the doctor, Dr. Ana, and the victim's uncle, Mr. Iwan, and the Vice Rector III, Mr. Haris, who were present at the hospital," explained Riau Regional Police Public Relations Chief, Senior Superintendent Zahwani Pandra Arsyad, Thursday (2/26/2026).

Pandra explained that according to the treating doctor, the victim's condition is gradually improving. However, for further treatment, the victim will be referred to a hospital with more complete facilities.

"She is quite stable after the incident, but to provide the best possible care, she will be referred to the Arifin Achmad Hospital, a Regional General Hospital in Pekanbaru City," he said.

According to Pandra, there were a total of three incised wounds on the victim's body. This condition means the victim still requires further medical treatment.
