inp.polri.go.id - East Java. Embracing the spirit of community engagement, the Surabaya Sub-regional City Police regularly distributes basic food packages to residents in need through a special program titled "Luthfie.Daily Berbagi."
This program, initiated by the Surabaya Sub-regional City Police Chief, Senior Superintendent Luthfie Sulistiawan, targets underprivileged residents in various areas of the city.
In each implementation, functional units, particularly the Surabaya Sub-regional City Police Community Development Unit, directly visit residential areas to ensure that aid reaches its intended recipients.
This time, the Luthfie.Daily Berbagi social program targeted three locations in the Tegalsari, Gubeng, and Wonokromo districts.
The Head of Public Relations of the Surabaya Sub-regional City Police, Police Senior Inspector Hadi Ismanto, stated that the presence of Surabaya Sub-regional City Police personnel in the field demonstrates the police's genuine concern.
"We want to ensure that police services are not limited to law enforcement, but also provide economic benefits to the daily lives of underprivileged residents," explained Hadi Ismanto, Wednesday (8/26/2028).
During the distribution of the basic supplies like rice and sugar, the police took the opportunity to engage in dialogue, listen to their concerns, and directly gather their aspirations from residents.
This proactive approach received a positive response and grateful smiles from local residents.
The police presence was seen as not only easing the burden on household expenses but also strengthening the sense of security in their community.
