Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Pademangan Police officers evacuated an ill schoolteacher trapped by flooding in Pademangan, North Jakarta, on Monday afternoon (12/1/2026), ensuring she received urgent medical treatment amid worsening conditions.
“The victim was suffering from severe bleeding and her condition was weakening,” said Pademangan Police Chief Senior Inspector Imanuel Sinaga, as quoted by antaranews.com
The evacuation took place as floodwaters blocked access to roads leading to Pademangan Regional Public Hospital. Police officers used a rubber boat to transport the teacher safely to the hospital, where she was immediately treated.
Beyond the evacuation, police officers continue to monitor affected neighborhoods and have established three-pillar flood emergency posts in every sub-district across Pademangan. The posts are aimed at ensuring faster assistance and closer public service during floods, as heavy rainfall continues to impact parts of North Jakarta.
