The Jambi Regional Police Public Relations Division, provided the latest developments in the illicit trafficking of 58 kilograms of methamphetamine, previously uncovered by the Narcotics Investigation Directorate. This information was provided during a doorstop activity held on Saturday (April 4, 2026).

The doorstop was led by the Head of Public Relations of the Jambi Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Erlan Munaji, accompanied by the Director of Drugs Criminal Investigation, Senior Superintendent Dewa Palguna, and several other relevant officials. In his explanation, he revealed that the case began on October 9, 2025, with three suspects identified as MA, APR, and JA.

"Regarding the progress of the case, two suspects, APR and JA, have been submitted to the Jambi High Prosecutor's Office for further legal proceedings, along with their case files," said Erlan Munaji.

Meanwhile, another suspect, identified as MA, has been on the Wanted List (DPO) since October 12, 2025, for fleeing before undergoing questioning. 

"The person in question escaped while investigators were coordinating in another room. He is currently on the wanted list, and we are continuing our intensive pursuit," he explained.

He emphasized that the police are continuing their maximum efforts to apprehend the suspect, involving various parties. 

"We have coordinated with the Indonesian National Police Criminal Investigation Unit and other regional police units to limit the suspect's freedom of movement. We are committed to completing this case and urge the public to immediately report any information about his whereabouts," concluded Erlan Munaji.
