inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) confirmed that the criminal proceedings against two officers of the South Sulawesi Regional Police involved in drug trafficking will continue. 

This aligns with INP Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo's commitment to firmly take action against drug traffickers.

"The Police Chief has repeatedly expressed his commitment on various occasions regarding the eradication of drug crimes," stressed the Head of INP Public Relations Division, Inspector General Jhonny Edison Isir on Thursday (2/26/2026).

He explained that a thorough investigation of the other perpetrators will also be carried out to completion. Furthermore, the police will dismantle the networks protected by these two individuals.

"Firm action will be taken. There will be no tolerance, no special treatment, or impunity, none," said Jhonny firmly.

According to him, INP will always firmly commit to recognizing drugs as a common enemy.
