inp.polri.go.id - Kokas. A food security program held by Kokas Sector Police both to improve local supply and member’s skills and awareness of the agriculture sector at their empty lands.

The land used is 0.5 hectares (5,000 m²) used to cultivate various types of vegetables and food crops such as kale, mustard greens, chilies, eggplants, long beans, and cassava, with a plant age of around 1-2 weeks.

In the activity, police routinely gardens their plants and vegetables, notably by Brigadier Irwansyah Kaita, who also manages and cares for all the plants in the area.

Kokas Sector Police Chief, First Police Inspector Paulus Menga conveyed that this program is part of the police's strategic steps in maintaining social and economic stability of the food sector in the society.

"Through this activity, we want to show that we are not only serving the public only through the security sector, but we also  actively support the people in food security," said Paulus Menga.

This activity demonstrates the commitment of Kokas Sector Police in supporting government programs in the field of food security.
