Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police's General Criminal Investigation Directorate on Monday (6/11/2023) named 11 suspects in a shooting involving the John Kei and Nus Kei groups that left a 44-year-old man dead on Sunday night.
The fatal shooting of the man, identified by his initials GR, took place at the Rawa Bambu Bulak compound in Bekasi on Sunday night.
Nine suspects have been arrested and are being held at the Jakarta Police Detention Centre. Two suspects are still at large and on the wanted list, Senior Superintendent Hengki Haryadi, the Drector of the Jakarta Police's General Criminal Investigation, confirmed, antaranews.com reported.
Last week, Superintendent Titus Yudho Ully, head of the Mobile Investigation Sub-Directorate, said a joint team had arrested four suspects in different locations. The suspects were identified by their initials FO, EU, MW and PM alias O.
He said that the shooting of GR from the Nus Kei group was allegedly a pre-emptive measure.
"According to information from John Kei's group, this incident occurred because they had received information indicating an attack from Nus Kei's group," Chief Ully explained.
