inp.polri.go.id - East Java. The people of East Java can now participate in food oversight through the complaint call center service provided by the East Java Regional Police.
The Head of Public Relations of the East Java Regional Police, Senior Superintendent Jules Abraham Abast, explained that complaints can be submitted to the emergency number 110 or via the WhatsApp call center at 0811-3079-1919.
"All public reports will be received, processed, and forwarded to the relevant work unit. The reporter's identity is guaranteed to be kept confidential," he emphasized.
This step is taken as part of an integrated monitoring effort for the distribution of food, especially rice, to protect the public from products that are not fit for consumption.
For the record, Abast announced the complaint call center service provided by the East Java Regional Police while accompanying East Java Regional Police Chief Inspector General Nanang Avianto at a press conference in Sidoarjo regarding the successful uncovering of a rice processing factory that failed to meet quality standards and the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) on its packaging.
