inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The West Java Regional Police Police Patrol Directorate secures the West Java General Election Commission (KPU) on Saturday (10/26/2024).

Patrol carried out by the Regional Police Patrol was part of 2024 Mantap Praja Lodaya Operation to review the situation and condition of West Java KPU.

Head of West Java Regional Police Public Relations Division, Senior Superintendent Jules Abraham Abast confirms that the patrol was to ensure West Java KPU safe condition.

“The 2024 Regional Head Election is a democratic process that is very important to determine the next regional head. Thus, maintaining security and order is detrimental to ensure the election security is not disturbed,” says Abraham.

“The West Java Regional Police committed to continue maintaining security and order throughout the election process and working together with related parties, including KPU and Election Supervisory Body to realize the election that is transparent and with integrity,” adds Abraham.

With routine patrol and control from the security unit, police hopes that the 2024 Regional Head Election process can go successfully without hindrance.
