inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The police have set up a service post for fire victims in North Duri, Tambora, West Jakarta, who have lost valuable documents.
Tambora Sector Police Chief, Police Assistant Superintendent Muhammad Kukuh Islami, said that fire victims can access the post at the RW 02 Post in North Duri, which is on standby 24 hours a day.
"We've been open since the fire started. We're waiting for people to report to us. We're available 24 hours a day at the post," he said, as reported by Antaranews, Monday (7/21/2025).
He explained that the post provides services for issuing lost documents such as birth certificates, certificates, ID cards, family cards, and other valuable documents.
"We'll record the issuance of any lost documents, and then issue a lost report directly on site. We've provided a printer at the post so they can be processed immediately," he said.
As of now, 70 houses, home to approximately 100 families with a total of 400 people, have been completely destroyed. As of 4:00 PM (Western Indonesian Time), several hot spots remained in the burned houses.
Firefighters, who had been operating since morning, were still working to extinguish the fires to prevent them from spreading.
