Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The General Criminal Investigation Directorate of Indonesian National Police (INP) investigates the allegation of illegal firearm ownership of Dito Mahendra. After successfully secured Dito some times ago, Police now is in pursuit of other suspects. “We are still investigating the involvement of other suspects or those who hides it,” says General Criminal Investigation Director, Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rhardjo Puro on Wednesday (10/18/2023). The One-Star General hopes the naming of the new suspect could be carried out soon as the effort of gathering evidence continuously on-going. “As soon as possible, because now we are gathering the evidence and doing examination. We are being careful with this case,” he explains. It was reported that Dito Mahendra was named as the perpetrate according to the open session on April 17th, 2023. Dito was charged with Article 1 paragraph (1) of Law Number 12 of 1951 which regulates ownership of firearms. (ad/my/pr/nm)
