Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Police Senior Superintendent Dirmanto, Head of East Java Regional Police's Public Relations, stated that numerous witnesses have been questioned in the case of the shooting of a community figure identified as M, 48-year-old, in Sampang, Madura, by an unknown assailant.
"Until now, 11 individuals have been questioned as witnesses," he said on Tuesday (26/12/2023).
The spokesperson added that a joint team from the Crime and Violence Unit of General Crimes Investigation Directorate, Forensic Laboratory of East Java Regional Police, and Sampang Sub-Regional Police, is actively investigating the shooting incident.
"We seek your prayers, and we hope for a swift resolution to this case," he said.
As previously reported, the victim was shot while having coffee with friends in front of a store on Friday (22/12/23) around 9.30am, sustaining two gunshot wounds and falling during the incident.
